P.I.LATES is a Pilates studio rooted in the classical method but led with modern views. We are built around the belief that how you move shapes how you live. Across our studios in Cheltenham and Cirencester, we offer a breadth of classes taught by a team who care deeply about the quality of your practice and your long term goals.

Our reformer classes are safe and suitable for all. Taught in small groups of 8 with each exercise being layered to suit individuals. Each session uses spring resistance and guided movement to build whole-body strength, stability and coordination. The kind that stays with you.

Mat Pilates returns to the origins of the practice. Deceptively challenging and endlessly adaptable, our mat classes build the kind of deep, functional strength that supports everything else you do. An essential part of a well-rounded practice.

Drawing from the classical Pilates method and ballet conditioning, barre is a class that rewards precision and patience. Controlled sequences and considered movements. Whilst challenging your co-ordination. Barre focuses on isometric movements with added weight and some good music! Open to all levels — no dance background required or expected.

Pilates as Joseph Pilates intended it. Our contrology classes take place in our dedicated small studio at Cheltenham, using the full suite of classical apparatus — the barrel, wunda chair, tower and cadillac. Sessions are limited to four people and led by a specialist teacher, offering a depth and precision of movement that simply cannot be replicated in a group class. For those who want to go further in their practice.

Beyond the studio, P.I.LATES brings its community together through a curated calendar of monthly events designed to support movement, connection and wellbeing. From restorative Pilates & Sound Bath evenings that combine mindful movement with immersive sound healing, to seasonal community gatherings such as picnics in the park, our events create opportunities to slow down, connect and recharge. Private sessions are tailored entirely to you. Your teacher will work with your body, your history and what you need right now. Perfect for those returning from injury, deepening an established practice or seeking a more personalised experience. Privates are available at both our Cheltenham and Cirencester studios.
